What Is Home*A*Syst?

Home*A*Syst (Homestead Assessment System) is a program to help you protect surface and ground water quality.

Home*A*Syst helps identify and evaluate conditions and activities around your home that could affect the quality of your surface and ground water and your home environment.

Who Should Use Home*A*Syst?

Home*A*Syst should be used by homeowners to help them implement responsible practices to protect surface and ground water quality. Home*A*Syst is a series of environmental self-assessments or checklists. These self-assessments make it easy for to record activities and conditions around the home that may affect water quality. Although participation in Home*A*Syst is voluntary, taking a few minutes to complete these self-assessments may help identify activities that could lead to problems with surface and ground water. Responses to all Home*A*Syst self-assessments are entirely confidential and are for the homeowner's own information and use.
