The working environment was a very educational experience for me. I was learning and picking up on different little tricks of the trade everyday. The duties are circulated through the interns. They really like to give us a variety of different duties to do through out the workweek. The managers also put us on different projects to give us some input into what should go in the landscape. The first assistant makes out the schedule and handles the crew. He is also fair in assigning the duties to the crew and he knows what crewmembers enjoy doing and what they are best at achieving. I would definitely recommend the internship to another student. The place is beautiful and you get to live next the beach. The managers are great and it is a very laid back working environment. I really have enjoyed the summer and it actually has gone back too quickly.
