| A two-year effort that involved a
comprehensive self-study of the University and ultimately determines if Clemson earns
reaffirmation of accreditation from the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
(SACS) has reached its final stage.
The Commission on Colleges visiting team was on Clemson's campus March 11-14, 2002. The visiting team is chaired
by Dr. James Ammons, Chancellor of North Carolina Central University. To
view a list of the visiting team members, please click here.
The Self-Study report can be found by
selecting on of the highlighted sections below.
The Reaffirmation Committee identified two
commendations for the University and 16 recommendations. If you would

The final Self-Study Report is available for
review. The report is divided into sections that follow the 1998
Criteria for Accreditation standards. The Steering Committee seeks
your help and input. As we prepare for the upcoming visit, please take
this opportunity to review the report and findings. Please send your
comments and suggestions. The Steering Committee will prepare a
follow-up document to the Self-Study Report and can include additional
