First decide which day fits into your schedule. Generally volunteers spend 4 hours with Sprouting Wings one day per week (2-6pm). We meet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. On Tuesday we travel to J.N. Kellett Elementary Schools in Seneca, transportation is provided if needed. On Wednesday afternoons we will meet Central Elemenntary School children in the Garden. Thursdays are TBA. Call Lisa Chancellor at 656-0203 to discuss other volunteer opportunities in the children's areas of the SCBG.
Please plan on attending a Sprouting Wings Volunteer Orientation session. The dates are Tuesday, September 9 and Wednesday, September 10 . You should attend on the day of the week you want to volunteer! Orientation will be held in the Hayden Conference Center located in the South Carolina Botanical Garden.

From campus
take Perimeter Rd. towards Hwy 76. Pass the caboose parking lot and
turn right into the last driveway on the right (by the stone pillars) before
you get to Hwy 76. This is a gravel road- keep to the right on this
road until you see the brown metal building with the green awning that says
Hayden Conference Center. Just past the building is parking on the
right- we meet in the basement which is called the Nature Center.
