Survey course in fundamental statistical principles with applications. Topics include estimation, tests of hypotheses, simple linear regression and correlation, analysis of count data, and nonparametric statistics. May not be taken for credit by students who have passed MTHSC 301, 302, or EX ST 301.

Prerequisite: MTHSC 101.
