Extensive treatment of topics chosen to prepare students for the study of calculus. Special emphasis is given to polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions and their graphs, as well as basic and analytic trigonometry. Students who have received credit for MTHSC 102, 104, or 106 will not be allowed to enroll in or receive credit for MTHSC 105.
