Basic course to prepare students for subsequent courses in probability, mathematical analysis, elementary statistics and elementary functions (precalculus). Fundamental concepts of algebra, equations, inequalities, functions, and graphs are studied. Students who have received credit for higher numbered mathematical sciences courses will not be allowed to enroll in or receive credit for MTHSC 104.
