2008 AP Teacher Institute in Calculus BC

The 2008 Advanced Placement Summer Institute in Calculus BC is planned for a three week period, June 23 to July 12 at Blythewood High School in Columbia S.C.  First stage will consist of a preliminary written assignment to be independently completed by the participant prior to attending the second stage, an intensive one week period July 7 to July 11.

The course is designed with the goal of producing excellent well trained teachers, who are well versed in calculus, prepared to instruct the advanced placement course in Calculus BC and advance the study of mathematics in the secondary schools. Successful participants receive three semester hours of graduate school credit at Clemson University.
