INSTRUCTIONAL STAFF
Professor Terri A. Johnson received her Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences from Clemson University in 1992. In addition to numerous years at Clemson University, her 20+ years of teaching experience include positions at Elon University, Elon, NC, Hillsdale College, Hillsdale, MI, and a year and a half of high school mathematics. Dr. Johnson regularly teaches college calculus courses (including honors sections, multivariable calculus, and differential equations). She has been at the AP Calculus Readings 1994-1996 and 2007 and has conducted an AP Calculus AB Institute for Greenville County and the AP Calculus BC Institute in 2007 at Clemson University. She is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Clemson University.
Vicki Carter has been a West Florence High School mathematics teacher for
31 years during which she has taught AB Calculus for 20 years and BC Calculus
for 15 years. She has a B.S. in mathematics from Francis Marion University,
a M.Ed. from Francis Marion University, and an Educational Specialist Degree
(Masters Plus 30) in mathematics education. She is endorsed to teach AP Calculus
AB, AP Calculus BC, and AP Statistics. Her AP experience includes being an
AP Calculus Exam Reader for the past 6 years, 2002 – 2007, a Master
Teacher for four Francis Marion University BC Calculus Institutes, and the
Master Teacher for AP Calculus BC Institute in 2007 at Clemson University.
In addition, Vicki is the President of the South Carolina Association of
Advanced Placement Mathematics teachers (SCA^2PMT), the Vice President of
the Secondary - South Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics (SCCTM).
Finally, Vicki is a T^3 National Instructor for Texas Instruments Company.
