2008 AP Teacher Institute in Calculus AB

The 2008 Advanced Placement Summer Institute in Calculus AB will meet on the campus of Clemson University at the Mathematical Sciences Department. Instruction is planned for a three week period, June 9 to June 28.  First stage will consist of a online instruction during June 9 to June 17.  The second stage, June 18 to June 28 consists of formal classroom instruction.

The Course is designed with the goal of producing excellent well trained teachers, who are well versed in calculus, prepared to instruct the advanced placement course in calculus and advance the study of mathematics in the secondary schools. Successful participants receive three semester hours of graduate school credit at Clemson University.
