Menus and Booking
To assure the availability of your chosen menu, we request that you submit
your selections two weeks in advance for banquets and receptions and three
days in advance for coffee breaks. Please have available the date, time,
location and estimated number of guests.
Guarantees
A guaranteed number of attendees must be received three business days
prior to the event. If a final guarantee is not received, we will consider
the original estimate as the guarantee. You will be billed based on this
number or the final number in attendance, whichever is greater.
Billing
A 50% deposit based on the guarantee will be required for any function
or group which has not established credit. This is due one month prior
to the event. The remaining balance must be paid three business days in
advance of the function. The final guarantee is also due at this time.
All functions are subject to state and local sales tax of 6%. Visa, MasterCard,
American Express and checks are accepted.
Cancellations
All cancellations must be made three business days prior to the event.
Events canceled with less than the required notice will be assessed charges
based on costs incurred.
Service Charges
Normal service of up to two hours is automatically included for events
whose sales are $300.00 or more. Attendants will be provided upon request
for parties with sales less than the minimum, at a rate of $15.00 per
attendant for the first hour. Each additional hour will be billed at a
rate of $12.50 per attendant per hour. Events that extend beyond two hours
of service will also be billed at this rate. Special requests for early
set up will be billed at $12.50 per hour per attendant. Also, functions
that begin at 9:30 p.m. or later may be charged an hourly fee of $12.50
per attendant and $25.00 per cook. A fee of $50.00 will be charged for
a chef to cook on site. Please speak with a sales representative to determine
all costs for your event.
Floral Arrangements/Gift Baskets
Floral arrangements and gift baskets can be provided at an additional
charge. Contact a sales representative to determine cost.
Room Set Up/Break Down
Clemson Catering does not furnish tables and chairs. If these items are
not available at the chosen site, they must be rented from an outside
source. Functions that require Clemson Catering to set up, rearrange or
break down tables and chairs will be charged at a rate of $ .50 per chair
and $2.50 per table. A variety of on-campus facilities is available for
rental. We will be happy to assist you in your selection.
Small Party Charge
A fee of $50.00 will apply to any buffet with a guarantee of fewer than
30 people.
Delivery Charge
All functions will be charged a delivery fee at the following rates:
On campus: $8.00 each way for delivery and pick up if necessary.
Off campus: $25.00 and $ .35 per mile above 10 miles. An hourly charge
of $12.50 per attendant/hour will also be added to cover travel time for
parties outside the 10-mile radius.
