Ekaterina Yazykova, an immigrant from Russia, is now a permanent resident of the US. Ms. Yazykova is interested in child and family policy. At John Jay, her research and clinical work focused on issues related to intimate partner violence and stalking. She is also interested in legal and psychosocial issues related to family life among immigrants, including international adoptees. During the past summer, Ms. Yazykova worked in the office in The Hague (Netherlands) that guides and monitors implementation of treaties regulating international adoption. She also worked at Amnesty International (USA) and specialized in programs that focus on prevention of violence against women.
