Anna Skosireva (BS, MS, First Tashkent State Medical Institute; MS in International Health Policy & Management, Brandeis University) is a physician who practiced family medicine in Uzbekistan and has also studied international health policy and management in the U.S. Specializing in internal medicine, Dr. Skosireva is especially interested in the prevention of HIV infection, and she hopes to undertake prevention research that is useful in the design of policies and programs for HIV drug users in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. As a medical student and district health officer, she made several research presentations at local scientific meetings. Dr. Skosireva aspires to be a researcher and educator of preventative health systems internationally. She is currently assisting in IFNL research on family support through pediatric health services.
