Barbara Brown is a senior county agent for community development at Clemson University. She is the state director of Operation Military Kids and the Children, Youth, and Families at Risk program. Active in grant development, she has been active in the development of Issues Forums for the Kettering Foundation. Ms. Brown is interested in building communities= capacity for citizen engagement and in enhancing the responsiveness of the Cooperative Extension Service to meet such needs.
