J. Marlene Snyder (BS, MA, Ph.D., University of Nebraska-Lincoln) is a consultant and trainer in the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program.
As a parent and a professional, she has been active in organizations for advocacy for people with attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders and their families. She also has written several related educational guides, including a book for parents of adolescents with AD/HD on driving, a curriculum for foster and adoptive parents (published by the Child Welfare League of America) on AD/HD, several booklets available at SchwabLearning.org, and various reports on learning disabilities and juvenile justice for the National Council on Crime and Delinquency and the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges.
Prof. Snyder is a frequent conference speaker (including a Chatauqua living-history performer of one-woman shows), and she is a certified mediator for conflict resolution (e.g., disputes between parents and school districts).
