Patricia Y. Hashima,

Patricia Y. Hashima (BA, Mills College; MS, California, Davis; Ph.D., Nebraska) is a research assistant professor. She is the research coordinator of Strong Communities for Children in the Golden Strip.
Before
joining the staff, Prof. Hashima was a research scientist
at the Stone Center for Developmental Studies and
Services at the Wellesley Centers
for Women at Wellesley College, where she managed
a longitudinal study of 2,500 U.S. Navy fathers,
mothers, and children who have experienced
spousal violence, child physical abuse, or child
sexual abuse. As a developmental psychologist
interested in family life, Prof. Hashima has participated
in a wide variety of projects on issues related to
children and families, including research on the
victimization of children.
