Christa Friddle
Family Advocate – Strong Communities and Building Dreams
Christa Friddle (BA magna cum laude, Furman; MDiv, Princeton Theological Seminary) is a Family Advocate in Extra Care (support for parents who have young children and who have more than ordinary needs) and Building Dreams (support for children of prisoners and for their caregivers and family). Most recently, she worked as American Red Cross’s director of emergency services for Upstate South Carolina. As a theology student, Friddle was assistant pastor of First Baptist Church in Trenton, NJ, where she was involved in creation of a soup kitchen. After graduating, she worked for the Urban League. Her internship experiences included work on the Yakama Indian reservation and in (Greenville) United Ministries and Upstate Japanese Christian Fellowship. She received awards for studies in ethics and ministry as a student at PTS and Furman, respectively.
