Dana Southern
Community Outreach Worker – Strong Communities
Dana Southern (BA, UNC-Asheville) is an outreach worker for Mauldin in the Strong Communities initiative. Southern is engaged in community mobilization for Strong Communities and volunteer recruitment for Building Dreams. With strong interest in support for families of children with disabilities, she has extensive experience as a board member of the Ronald McDonald House of Greenville and the Make-a-Wish Foundation of South Carolina and as a volunteer at Mauldin Elementary School and Mauldin United Methodist Church. She has worked as a manager or marketer for Charter Asheville, Southern Bride store, and Weddings with Style magazine.
