Bob Campbell Geology Museum Educational Tours 2003
Thank you for your interest in the Bob Campbell Geology Museum. We welcome group tours of schools, scouts, churches, clubs and other organizations. Come to see beautiful mineral clusters and sparkling gemstones. Marvel at fossilized plants and animals that were once buried in layers of rock. Don’t miss the iron meteorites and minerals that glow in the dark. Stroll through the courtyard garden with its mix of unusual plants, rocks and mining equipment. Get up close and personal with the samples on our touchable table. A few requests: We want your visit to the museum to be educational, pleasurable and safe. To help us in this, we ask that self-guided groups have a maximum of 30 visitors and groups requesting tour guides be no larger than 20 people. The museum is a smoke-free environment and we request that you refrain from using tripods for photography. Visitor services: Parking is free and plentiful. Those with disabilities can park adjacent to the museum; go through the lot and up the back driveway. Restrooms are located in the Betsy Campbell Carriage House Cafe which is just behind the museum along the same driveway. Entrance Fees: Admission to the museum is a $3 donation for adults, a $2 donation for children 12-4, and children under 4 are free. Educational tours are $1.50 per person and self-guided tours follow the regular entrance fee schedule. Payment can be made at the time of the tour by cash, check or charge card.
