Our Mission

The Bob Campbell Geology Museum at Clemson University strives to enrich people's lives by stimulating their curiosity and fostering a greater awareness and understanding of the complex, dynamic nature of geology. We illustrate geologic principles with southeastern US and global examples, and demonstrate interrelationships between geology, botany and the human experience.

Our Vision

Our goal is to create engaging and memorable experiences with the earth - a place where geology is fun for everyone.

South Carolina Botanical Garden Mission

To serve as an interdisciplinary resource center focusing on teaching, research and outreach that advances awareness of botanical, cultural and natural resources.

Clemson University Mission

The mission of Clemson University is to fulfill the covenant between its founder and the people of South Carolina to establish a "high seminary of learning" through its historical land-grant responsibilities of teaching, research and extended public service.
