Financial aid is expected to help meet educational costs, so any academic, housing or meal plan fee for students withdrawing from the University will be refunded to the financial aid program(s) from which the student received assistance. Refunds will be made up to the amount of financial aid received for that semester or summer session. Because withdrawal may create a significant indebtedness to the University or the aid programs, students considering withdrawal should discuss the required return of their financial aid with the Office of Revenue and Receivables located in G-08 Sikes Hall or by calling (864)656-5592 or visit their web site at www.clemson.edu/receivables.

Refunds for academic fees will be made in accordance with the semester and summer session refund policies. University housing refunds will be made in accordance with the housing contract. Refunds for meal plans will be made on a pro rata basis.
