Dairy Jeopardy!

Karissa Ulmer, Allendale County Agent, and Karen Leggett, Hampton County Agent taught the importance of drinking milk to children at a program in July. Karissa and Karen handed out stickers, pencils, and magnets provided by the National Dairy Council. The younger kids made cow puppets and were taught about dairy foods while the older kids played Dairy Jeopardy. It looks like everyone had a great time!

Pyramid to the Plate

Sue Hovey from Union County has used her Pyramid to the Plate curriculum at 6 programs for over 70 people already! She reports that two ladies from her class have become friends and spend time together planning and preparing meals. And according to results from a follow-up survey, all 8 of these class participants pictured below reported learning something new and 5 of them reported that they would use the new information in the next month.
