Portfolio Assesment Essay
Bring class folder with all previous graded
papers and responses. You will get paper #6 back at the exam. I will
ask you to write a response to my comments on paper six and then to write
a retropective essay on what you have learned about writing in this course,
assessing your strengths and weaknesses as a writer, using as evidence
your previous papers for the course. Talk about what you think you've
learned, and set an agenda for next semester. What do you still need
to work on as a writer? Be sure to discuss your writing from
macro to micro: not only content and ideas, but also organizational strategies
like paragraph unity and development, transitions, issues of sentence style
and structure, and of course details such as word choice, spelling,
possessives, commas splices, comma rules etc.
Paper
#6 3-4 pp. Comparison Contrast of prose and dramatic versions of Nickle
and Dimed. 10% Final draft due Monday Apr 26. (Edit Sheet
