Dr. Alan Sams is the Dean for the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences.  Dr. Sams served as head of the poultry science department at Texas A&M University since 1999. He earned a bachelor's degree in poultry science and food and resource economics in 1982, a master's degree in poultry science in 1984, and a doctorate in food science and human nutrition in 1987. All are from the University of Florida.

Dr. Thomas Schwedler  is the Associate Dean for Research for the College Agriculture Forestry & Life Sciences. Dr. Schwedler is a Fish Pathologist holding a professorship in Biological Sciences. He received his B.S. from the University of Michigan, M.S. from Michigan Technological University and Ph.D. from Auburn University.

Jane Turbeville, Administrative Coordinator, manages the Office of the Associate Dean in the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences.

Dr. John Sweeney is the Interim Associate Dean for Academics for the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences. Dr. Sweeney is the Past President of the National Association of University Fisheries and Wildlife Programs. He holds Bachelor and Masters degrees from University of Georgia in Forestry and Wildlife Biology, respectively. He holds a Ph.D. in Wildlife Biology from Colorado State University

Dr. Sweeney supports the activities and programs of the Dean’s office and college, with particular emphasis on support of the College’s student affairs and academic programs. He also serves as the Coordinator for the B.S. in Environmental and Natural Resources program.

Leigh Dodson is the financial officer for the College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Life Sciences. She acts in the role of budget center representative to the campus.

She is responsible for the financial and personnel management functions of the college. She communicates fiscal and personnel policies and procedures, provides training and accounting support to the administrative support staff in the college.

Debbie Wright is the receptionist for the Dean’s Office in the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences. She handles correspondence for the Dean and also provides support to the Office of Student Relations and Recruitment and Career Services.

Kim Erwin is the Director of the Office of Recruiting, Advising, and Career Services for the College of Agriculture, Forestry & Life Sciences.  Kim serves as the CAFLS liaison to University student service programs in order to ensure a comprehensive recruiting, advising and careers services office as well as serves as the College Study Abroad Coordinator. A large portion of her time is focused in employer relations and career services.
